Ok...so this may be more of a rant than a question..but - I bought several Lumenoks a few months back and have just gotten around to practicing for the upcoming hunting season. I shoot carbon express 250 Maximas. I followed the instructions to a tee and also sanded off the paint off the back ring cap so the prongs touch metal. They test out fine turning on and off. I shot probably 60 times in the last 2 days with only 3 of them turning on. I counted 5 turning on inflight and then off prior to hitting the target..?? Im thinking these are possibly the biggest piece of garbage i have ever purchased. I think that the idea is sweet, and when it works it works well. The videos on them are pretty cool but did they really work every single time?
Anyone ever use these and have the same issue? Is there anything else out there better or are they just as big a waste of money as the Lumenoks? Any ideas or troubleshooting tips? thanks jonathan |
