To make a long story short, I taught a fellow worker the ins and outs of blackpowder hunting. One specific I told him was, don't shoot over a hundred yards. After the first day of the early B.P. season he came and bragged to me about taking a 145 yd. shot at a buck aiming two feet over his back and hitting him in the leg. He said," I couldn't find any blood and he was just limping a little so he will be O.K." Needless to say I was a little irritated at him and needless to say I called him an Idiot and don't see myself ever hunting with him

Never had that happen, but it sounds like the guy is either slow on the uptake or has the attention span of a gerbil.
