Bear bows are great bows. If it has the single sight pin you'll just have to sight it in for 10 to 20 yards depending on the draw poundage. You will also need some arrows that will fit the bow and the type of game you are after. I would suggest using arrows with Flu Flu vanes because they don't travel as far as most other vanes. I, nor my kids have used the Brave II bow. I have other Bear bows that I use regularly, and I have never had any issues with them. As far as aiming goes; practice, practice, practice. Oh yeah, and practice. It is hard to explain how or where to aim without being there. My son says that he aims just above the target at 10 yards with his 15 pound draw bow, but it is different for everyone. I use balloons on a target at 10 yards for my 9 year old, and 5 yards for my 4 year old for practice. The 4 year old still needs a lot of hands on training, but my 9 year old is ready to hunt. The balloons make it fun, and give them something to aim for. I shoot both compound and recurve, so I understand the "feel" to know when the arrow is on target. I can never understate the need to practice, practice, practice.
