| Just wondering how many guns everyone depends on during a year of hunting. Some people like to have one versitile gun they can depend on. Some people like to use several differient guns for differient situations. Some people like to use a differient for every day of the week. I personally use 2 differient rifles. If I think I'm going to get a longer shot I will take my Remington 700 BDL SS 270 with a Swift 4-12x40. With shots within 100 yards(most of them) I use my Thompson Center Encore with a 18.5" 45-70 Katahdin barrel, topped with a Swift compact 4x32. If you can hold it it will shoot just as good as any long barreled gun. So what does everyone else use. |

I forgot about muzzeloader and varmit rifles. Nice thing about that T/C Encore. Got a 50 cal. smokepole for it as well as a heavy barrel 22-250 barrel. Also just got a Savage .17HMR, been pretty impressed with it so far. Just can't have too many guns. I'm 20 and usually get about 2 new guns a year, so by the time i'm 50 i'm gona need....a REAL big house.
Rifles, shotguns and pistols..oh my! |

| I have a Remington 700 BDL 30-06, a Marlin 22 WMR, a Remington 870 Express synthetic, 12 gauge, a Remington 700 ADL synthetic in 7mm Remington Magnum, and a Weatherby Vanguard synthetic in 300 Weatherby Magnum. 5 guns is plenty to take care of, I only plan on adding one more to them, probably sometime over the summer, most likely a BDL SS in either 7mm Remington Magnum or 300 Winchester Magnum. |

| The brain is a curious organ. You first buy a gun that fits your every need and than your mind creats sinerios that cause you to purchas other guns that would fill that particular niche. I have 15 rifles, 3 muzzle loaders a 6 shotguns. |

Guns, Guns Guns. Where do I start. Well first let me say that all of my guns were stolen about 2 years ago so I have to start all over again but here is what I have so far. Marlin 22 semi auto, Remington 700 BDL 30.06, Remington 760 Gamemaster .308, Marlin model 336cs 30.30, TC New Englander .50 cal ML, Mossburg 500 12 Ga w/3 barrels, H&R stainless steel single shot .410, and an old, old, OLD "Made in Spain" single shot 12 Ga. that kicks like a pissed off mule!!!
Thats about 1/2 as many as I used to have and I am trying to replace them with the same models that were stolen. |

antelope & Deer
Rem. 700 bdl 25-06 of course , but would like to have a 300 mag. if I ever go elk hunting.
coyotes or varmints
Rem. 700 classic 220 swift, and a ruger 10/22
I also use my 25-06 some.
Birds
Rem. 11-87 12 ga.
my 220 and the 2506 both have 6x leupold scopes, but am thinking about a variable for my 220, for those long shots at the dog town. |

| I have a number of guns but when the modern opens I use my 480 Ruger Super Redhawk and when I get to itchen for the smell of sulfer I use my 54 T/C with a custom greenriver 34 inch barrel with a one in sixty six twist. I don't believe in long shots. I like to get up close and personal with the game I shoot. |
