I'm primarily a western hunter and when I ran across Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire's application process where I basically only to throw down $75 to throw my hat into all three rings, it seemed too good to resist.
Does anyone else apply for all three states? |

I will do exactly that too. As a handgun hunter from Sweden, it would be terrific to hunt moose with my custom S&W. It is illegal here, which is a pity since we harvest about 80 000-100 000 moose a year (in a country the size of California). It is legal and just fine in all the three New England moose states.
Though I understand that the tag lottery really can mean a long wait. I've heard about NH or VT residents who have been applying for 20+ years without any luck. |

I put in for all 3 as well. Its nice that you can just take the preference points in Vermont and N.H. I will put in for the kill tags in those states on alternating years, as their seasons run at the same time. Maine is luck of the draw, and being able to swap your hunt for another could help travel planning incase you would be fortunate enough to draw a tag in one of the other states as well.
