Don't have direct experience with the Axiom other then to say it's a very nice looking rifle and I'd like one. Fully free floated barrel and from what I've heard very accurate. I do own a Howa 1500 in 7 Mag and it's a very accurate rifle. Basically the 1500 is the Weatherby Vanguard as Howa made this model for Weatherby for quite some time.
Predator hunter Les Johnson uses one, an Axiom, in 22-250, I believe for many of his Predator Hunts. Howa makes good rifles.
On a side not I have the Savage Predator Model 10 and really like it including the synthetic stock. |
