hunted hard all week ,saw a lot of imature males with females ,but no big rack with "back pins" time was running out ,i already had one caribou on the ground,but this time i wanted something special ,something everybody dreams about ,my parteners all tagged out early and were fishing [catch and release] ..was on my way back to the camp and saw movement below me as i was comming over the hill ,and there he was not more than 150 yards away .i rested my .300 wsm on a rock ,took one big breath and squezzed the trigger..the rest is history ...for me...
