What are some of the guns and cartridges that you use on Javelina? I like to use my XP 100 221 Fireball.

Down in south texas, i prefer to hunt with either a bow or black powder pistol. In our area most shots at javalina are close range due to the dense brush
Javalina in this are have been on the decline in resent years

now if it is legal i would like to hunt javelina with either a .17hmr or a .22 magnum. Now remember that is my opinion.also big game rifles with fmj will suffice. silver bear makes fmj 30/06 fmj's be careful if you use silver bear they have nickel cases not brass ones - good luck.
