| I don't know about anywhere else, but the migratory birds never came this fall. I got a few local quacks, and some ringnecks that happened to be in the wrong place (for them) at the right time (for me). We had very mild weather clear into December, and then a sudden ice age. I suspect that the northern birds, when they did decide to take off, just kept going. Maybe if it warms up I'll get some on their way back??? :](*,) |

| ... we just came out of an ice age. Now it's melting ... water everywhere. Geese have shown up, and some ducks. Only 6 more days of season. I wonder if I can make up for it. It will be a scramble. |

As of Friday, most of our water is still locked up even though it has warmed some. Got another inch of snow last night.
We go till Jan 25, don't know if it will open up by then, but ya never know.
Was almost ready to move the decoys up into the loft, think I'll wait. :thumbsup1: |

| I'm about an hour west of STL and my boys have been doing ok near me and also been drivin about an hour or so west of hear and doin ok. Plenty of geese not a ton of ducks |

| Well, the geese showed up for about a week. Never got into some shooting until they left again right about at season end. The ducks never did come. Now for getting in shape for next year's hunts. |

Yup,
today is the end of it and theres nothing within a couple of hundred miles of here.
Guess I will move the decoys up to the loft this afternoon.
I feel bad for my dogs, neither of them got in more than 1/2 dozen hunts this year. All that training and very little work to show for it. |
