Hard to call this a primer. It's a nice story, don't get me wrong but really nothing about, oh let's say:

Range and Habitat
Scouting techniques
Stalking techniques
Firearm choice (except for the mention of .300 or larger)
or anything else regarding the actually issues of hunting.

Nice story though.
