just wondering how many state do have to apply for anterless deer tags in conn. for bow hunting they give you 4 tags, 2 for anterless and 2 for either sex

I don't know the total, but quite a few states/provinces require an application for antlerless deer tags particularly in the west. This is usually because demand for the tags far outstrips the number of tags available.
