Hey everyone.... I'm looking for some advice here.. My early muzzleloader elk season was "stolen" by my job. I was supposed to hunt 117 in Washington, but had to do some business travel. I've seen a variety of areas in okanogan and horseheaven for late season, but I've not scouted any of these...
I'm mainly looking to fill my freezer at this point, does anyone know of the farmers in these areas that would be willing to put up with hunter for a couple of days?
Or is there anyone with some background on elk in these areas in Washington? I would greatly like to hear from you.
Kind Regards,
Mike |

Sorry Mike, can't help you too much. In my opinion, Eastside late muzzleloader hunters get TOTALLY shafted when it comes to areas to hunt. Nothing on the real Yakima herd, nothing Northeast.
