Hi everyone. I am new to this site and joined because I liked what I saw and read. I was also looking for anyone that has any info on bear in the western area. I have scouted around Grannit Falls last year, and missed my bear last year. This year have been around Mt Index and around Marble creek. Hope to get involved with many topics to come... Good luck to you all.

I have seen quite a few in and around the Buckhorn wilderness. Never saw them long enough to get a shot off though.

Out past Darrington a few miles, saw a cub and mom out in the middle of the road right after a long day of hiking looking for em. Would have tried following them to get a shot off the road but I left my gun in my buddy's truck that had left for home a couple of hours earlier.
