| Snow shoe hare season opens Oct 1st here in NH cant wait to get after some of those rabbits the dogs ran all summer long. |

We've been doing alright with the bunnies here so far. A buddy and I started setting our snares last Saturday and had 6 in 9 snares by Monday (trying a new area.) Shot about a dozen since small game season opened with no dog, just scouting the side roads.
There's lots of good sign here in Newfoundland though, lots of visible runs, and others I've spoken to also think that the winter season is looking pretty positive. |
