| I got drawn again in four years for bull elk. The last time in 6A and I shot a small 6 by 6. I'll use my same 270 winchester pre-64. I thought I had to tell someone,how lucky. Also I drew for mule deer in 23, these are AZ hunts. |

| Congrats Caveman, good luck with the hunts. Is unit 27 a good unit? I don't know diddly about AZ units... |

Thanks,unit 27 is great unit with a lot of trophy potential. My friend drew the same tags.

| Congrats on the unit 27 tag. I drew the same unit/hunt for the first time in 11 years. Do you know where you're going yet? I've been there already and have seen some outstanding bulls. |

| Below the rim in the late season the elk come down regardless of weather in late October says Game and Fish. But some say the big bulls stay high all year. Both are right in my book. Scout a few weeks before and good luck! |
