Hello from Germany!

Last week I sold all my modern cartridge gun stuff and even my CVA inliner. Want to go with sidelaocks only, because they are to get without permission here in Germany. That is confusing. For a inliner you need a permission as for a cartridge gun, for a sidelock you only have to be 18 years old. The popint is that the inliner have no model before the year 1871, so german gun law says it needs a permission.

So I sold he .50 CVA inliner and ordered a .50 Traditions Deerhunter and a .54 Traditions Deerhunter, both will be mounted with a scope so that I can use for the autumn and winter hunts at the baiting in low light over snow here in Germany. The other confusing thing is that the Deerhunters have a 1in 48'' twist, so they can be used with all kind of bullets (PRB, Minie, Maxi and Sabot). So it is the same as a inliner, but it is free to get.

Regards

Hi ADKBEAR,

yes I sold the Marlin. Want to go traditional and without permission. The Deerhunter from Tradition cal. 50 with scope will be a fine gun because it has the all round twist of 1 in 48''.

Tracked a red deer buck today and will try to get it.
