red,

Great looking deer but you always seem to have them around your area it seems. Good luck this season.

Yeah, I had just visited my Atchison hunting area and he planted corn this year. While I was walking through it I could not believe the damage that they do to the corn. Stalks knocked down everywhere but I saw something really strange that made me wonder if it wasn't something else too. There was a trail that came up a severe steep bank from a deep pool in the creek and the trail was bare dirt path about 12" wide through the woods to the corn field. When I looked down the bank I could not see any tracks but there were stalks in the creek every where to include up stream. Is this a coon or something else?

Hey d, how have you been doing? I've been doing pretty good. Just moved in with 4 guys into a house in Lawrence. Anyone know of any good public land spots or have any private land they have room on?

Coons will eat the heck out of corn. So will squirrels and just about anything else thats hungry. Picked up my trailcam Thursday here is a couple bucks. They both look very simular to the large pair of matched sheds we found last year.
