Hi all, here in the Cotswolds we do a fair bit of Bunny-Bashing - OK, it's hardly big game hunting, but fun's where you find it!

I've lived in the northeast, southeast and now in the Rocky Mountain west. "Bunny-bashing" as you say is good hunting where ever you find them. :thumbsup1:

Tasty too!

Actually, here's a better picture:

It's a CZ .22 Silhouette with a carbon-fibre modertor (silencer) screwed onto the end. It's about the same as a mouses-fart and is actually quieter than my silenced air rifle, much lighter too, and I shoot sub-sonic ammo out to about 75yds with it and super-sonic out to about 150yds.

I do love a bit of rabbit hunting though, and I was always taught that if you can stalk up to rabbit you could do so with pretty much anything!

Cheers

Wow! That is the most UNsane bunny rifle I have ever seen! So, youre a bunny sniper? If there are other bunnies in the area of the bunny you actually shoot, do they get spooked when their chums start to drop for no apparent reason? Silencers like that are illegal in the State I live in and I am quite sure they are illegal in most other states. I sure as hell want one, tho!

LMFAO - yup, I'm a confirmed bunny sniper, me and Tom Berringer!

Actually, if I'm honest, the rifle is so quiet that it doesn't spook them at all - same with my air rifles - it's generally me that does that but isn't that always the way?

The use of moderators in the UK was also frowned upon as it is in most places in Africa too - poaching is a problem the world over I guess, but some bright spark appealed to the European Court that his civil rights (or whatever) were being screwed with. He went on to say that being refused permission to ad a mod to his rifle was in breach of health and safety legislation and he threatened to sue the local Police for exposing his hearing to potential damage - no ****, you couldn't make it up!

Anyway, we've now got moderators - lol. Here's me with my .243 Weatherby and I've a new 30-06 with a huge can on the end, but no pictures yet - hopefully soon!

If it worked one place, it could certainly work elsewhere. We should push for legalizing silencers for hunting here in the states. If for no other reason, it would certainly be worth it to save my ears when I'm sighting in and practicing (earmuffs are terrible when it's hot).

lol - I agree, plus, as I'm in the UK, we get a fair bit of rain, and wearing can's doesn't sit well with wearing a decent hat!

Cheers
