First off to the Forrums.
Unit 16 has some public land both state and BLM but the majority of it lies in the South East part of the unit.
Here is a link where you get map and also preview the unit

Good luck |

| Hey thanks for the reply. I did buy a Topo map from the BLM and has helped in scoping things out. I was hoping to speak to someone who has hunted the Unit and size it up to see if it had good bucks or not. Also wondering if the animal numbers look good. Thanks agian for the reply any info helps if you havent been there before. |

| I did call and speak with the Game Warden but he very tight lipped about camping areas and just about everything i was asking. Maybe he was having a bad day. I havent spoken with the bioligist yet. Do you know what department he would be under? Thanks for the reply |

Just call the Fish and Game headquarters in Cheyenne ans they should be able to give you the info.
I would try calling the warden again you get better luck the second time around.
You can camp on BLM land make sure you have an updated map and check with the blm office for any restrictions |

| Well sorry for not posting sooner. I called the game warden for the unit and it sort of like taling to a rock waiting for a reponse. I did call the BLM and they were a lot of help. I recieved my maps and have locate seveal places that look to be promising. |
