| I have a question about food plots. I'm not real big on hunting over baits of any kind really but I have the opportunity to plant some food plots on my place. The guy who farms my place can't get his machinery close to the hedge rows so that leaves me about 20 feet of edge space to plant and about 2 miles of edge to plant if I wanted. My question is this: Is it too late to plant a fall plot? I am mainly looking to hold my deer on my place (as greedy as this sounds but hey). I want to keep my bucks on my place best I can. I have pics of them and I know they are on my place. I just don't want them to leave. Any thoughts would be appreciated. |
