I drew a Utah Mohrland/Stump Flat cow elk tag in the Manti National Forest and have never hunted in this area. The hunt is September 13 - 23rd. I have always hunted in southern Utah and drew this tag as my 3rd choice. Anyone have any experience in this hunt area? Can anyone give me some help as to where to start on such an early hunt.
