Yeah, sometimes (mis)information gets thrown around.
Be honest - you were just worked up thinking about those moose steaks and forgot about everything else. :) |

Actually it was the fishing. I love hunting but if I ever had to (shudder) choose fishing would win hands down. |

If you ever consider a fall hunt for bear, up here in Northern Ontario (and I don't mean Muskoka...local joke..), we have bear like weeds and baiting is allowed. We have a few outfitters here in Cochrane, ON and I could get you the cost of the hunt.
On one site it's about $1095 CAN plus license, taxes, meat processing and export permit. PM me for the site. They offer also Fly in Moose, Fishing and Snowmobile packages.
