I have ordered some wood arrows. I will be fletching them myself. I shoot a long bow and I am planning on using it on deer and Elk. I use too install the broadheads on the aluminum shafts. Is there any difference installing them on wood besides using the cutting tool to round the wooden shaft. How do you true the broadhead to the shaft. Any suggestions for a first time long bow shooter using broadheads.

Welcome to BGH.
It isn't difficult, but could consume some time.
Taper the shafts with a taper tool.
Hot glue the heads on the shaft. Let the glue set.
Spin the arrows.
If they wobble. Soften the glue by heating the heads and adjust accordingly.
Good luck on your hunt.
