When shooting a compound bow, what do you guys focus on, the target or the sight pin? I generally focus on the target, but I was thinking about some of the handgun training I've gone through that always said to focus on the front sight of the pistol. I decided to try that yesterday while shooting my bow. I'm going to have to play with it a little more, but I my accuracy was pretty darn good that way. I don't know if I could say it was better, but it was at least as good. I could see how that might be a problem in low light conditions. When trying to shoot an animal in low light I open both eyes focus on the outline of the animal and settle the pin in the center of the rib cage. I don't know if I would even be able to see the animal very well, in low light, while focusing on the sight pin.
