When bears are feeding primarily on acorns how often (give or take) will they go to water and drink?
Thanks |

I thought you guys might like that. I have stalked a few Blacks and watched them very carefully and if I have learned one thing they are one of the most cautious animals we have around here. Exspecially the bruins they will lye in wait watching you if your not carefull and I have watched them feed for hours at a time it could take hours for them to fill up those fat bellies but you can guarantee one thing after they fill up they will need water. Also a key note some people will tell you most bears use the same water hole. I know different, Most bears I have watched and tracked-stalked whatever you wanna call it, the blacks usually have more then one water hole but one will be the main unless he knows your around more then you should be and he will change it up.
But on the other hand some seem to stay away from waterholes till evening or night then they go in for water. |
