| I am hunting this unit during archery season. Only second time in the unit and we are driving out from Mississippi. Any suggestions on where to camp and where to hunt? |

| Is it a bull or cow tag? Either way you're going to see a lot of elk. I'd start scouting just north of Long Lake and North to Jacox Mountain. Try calling them in during the morning hours and if you get lucky enough not to get in a fight over a water hole, sit in a blind near water and they'll come in. If you find a good water hole, make sure to get there early cause its first come first serve no matter who built the blind or stand. Good Luck! |

| It is a cow tag. We hunted 6A North last year and had that issue over a water hole one evening. I had a cow tag and this other hunter thought it was fine to come in and join us at the hole since he had a bull tag! |
