No wolf hunts this fall!
A Montana judge has returned the gray wolf to the endangered species list today. This ruling affects all western states. I'm very disappointed in this ruling, especially from a Montana judge.

I just read that, all i can do is shake my head, as i said before im ok with their being wolves , hell I had them circling the calving feilds in last few years and but to completly go against the facts that animal biologist presented in favor of a liberal view is assnine. Just like anything it all needs controlled through conservation.
I kinda laugh about the reason given too. Like i said im all for sharing the land with them but im completely against being over run so some twit can take a picture. |

Quote: Molloy said hunting and state laws allowing the killing of wolves for livestock attacks would likely "eliminate any chance for genetic exchange to occur."
::-k
Not sure where the judge is going with that statement, considering that regulated hunting doesn't seem to effect the "genetic exchange" of other hunting managed species. |

Molloy is well known as a friend of environmentalists, and has rendered many left field decisions against sound land and game management.
Lousia Wilcox is an old hippie that is against hunting and sound management of our National Forests. She needs a life (and more frequent baths!). |

montana is the most liberal state in the intermountain west. Not saying that is right or wrong. just stating. |

I met a guy here in town today that asked me to check out this web site and get more involved with the wolf problem. I told him I would check out his site and pass it along to help promote the issue.
Here is the link.

I hope that members of this forum will spend some time at this site and take a minute to pass it along to others.
Sportsmen like us paid for the reintroduction of the wolves, we should be directly involved in their management. You guys in CO. need to spend a lot of time looking at the information that is presented here. It clearly says you are the next target for reintroduction.
