The archery hunt is conducted right at commencement of the rutting activity, so expect lots of bugling, harem gathering, sparing and competition between mature bulls. Expect encounters with bull in the 300-350 range. This is by far the most exciting and action packed hunt available!
The rifle elk hunts on this ranch open 3-4 weeks later than normal New Mexico elk hunts. The reason being, that the ranch is entirely surrounded by public hunting land. This outfitter waits to open these rifle hunts after the pressure of the public hunting is over and numerous additional elk have been pushed onto the ranch. The rifle seasons on this ranch do not correspond with any public elk seasons, therefore hunting pressure is minimal. This is a great opportunity, as well, to harvest a trophy bull in the 300+ range.
Hunts include meals, lodging, trophy meat care, transportation during the hunt and licensing assistance.
