I am trying to identify an antique double barrel caplock muzzleloading shotgun I have acquired. Pictures of the gun and all the markings I can find can be seen at:

Hmmm now that is interesting. The crown mark is pretty clear, which would mean it is english or at least an english barrel.

Perhaps a W.C. Scott or one of the other english makers like Purdy. The wood looks good in the picture. If it is all original you may want to take it to an appraiser that is familiar with these types of guns.
