| i have question for all of you experts out there, i just got a new savage 7mm mag for christmas and i havnt been able to hunt with it yet cause hunting season doesnt start till september, so i was wondering what is the maximum accurate range of a remington 7mm magnum 165 gr.? |

| the cartage should easily be accurate out to 500 yards, the rifle and the shooter are the determining factors of what your maximum range with that round is |

| As a new hunter I would encourage you not to worry about the maxium effective range of the cartridge. Unless you have a good bit of shooting skill behind you, the max effective range of the cartridge will greatly exceede your ability to use it. Work on that! And have fun. :thumbsup1: |
