was reading on line and talking to some friends about a population of wild boars out on the peninsula, fish and game says theres no regulations or limits on these hogs! does any one have good info on hunting these things? locations maybe? thanks

Can we put this to rest? You will have as much luck finding hogs on the OP as you would if you were looking for an Emu.

There were a few around Monte a dozen years ago, mostly on private land.

BTW. I have seen both, wild hog on the OP and an Emu in Capitol Forest.

I think the tacoma news tribune did an article claiming a huge population about 3 -4 years ago. Me and a few friends hit it hard for about 3 months hunting day and night we only ever saw one. It was crossing a road, I have spent a lot of time hunting over at satsop,mont, and 1 is all I have ever seen. If you want to do it, its a good excuse just to get out in the woods I guess.

well thats why i was asking, i figured you guys would have some real info on this,to bad, a population of terrible hogs running rampant with the state saying shoot all you want would sure be fun :yes:
