Mark and I started with 3 bears . 2 on our license and 1 on a nusance permit . We had 3 snares set for bear and 1 was caught early and then one day Mark made the run and both the last 2 snares had bears . DNR gave us a nusnace permit for the 3rd one .We got our 10 cats ,1 coyote 4 beaver ,a doz coons and 13 weasels . The early big snows put the damper on our good coyote country . We couldn't get to it .Rosads aren't ploughed .

We had 1 top lot cat on the March sale that sold for $390.00 . That cat was 4 feet from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail . That's the big cat in the snare .

Don ,I've been heavy into the trapping forun . Gathering knowlage and spreading a little ..LOL . Kinda neglected my friends on BGH . Sorry bout that guys . I'm back around now . Been busy with other thigs as well. Getting a few raised beds ready for a garden . Getting ready for the shad fishing . Making snares for next season . Made 80 new coyote snares . Remodled a few cat snares and made some new ones . We were having trouble with cats getting caught around the belly . This lowers the price . We can't have that ..... LOL ......I made them all 6 " diameter . They were 6 1/2 " and still caught a few around the belly .

A few more for now . There is a pic of the snares that the 2 bears were in that are in the back of my truck . They sure made a mess of them . They were the 2 most savage bears that I have ever caught . 2 big feamales . Feamales are very hard to snare . Talk about a cranky woman !!!!!!! ....... LMAO........
