| Any particular advice you're seeking? Location, calling, caliber? Or all of the above? |

| I am no expert but have found morning to be best and to use a rabbit distress call like you'd use for coyote. |

| I have to agree with Gutpylz .Much more funner to trap or snare them ..The rabbit distress call does work . I have never called them ,but the info I gathered up on other forums says It's a good one .. Good Luck |

Rabbit or bird distress. Longer stand times as they can often come in much slower then a yote will. Thirty to forty minutes per stand. Keep your eyes peeled as they can come in very sneaky and using cover. We've all probably called in cats we never even knew were there. |

Also try hanging a turkey feather nearby. The visual will help pull them out.
When trapping we hang feathers above sets to draw them in. They will use their sight to locate their prey more than smell. |

| Predator calling can be a lot of fun. I haven't done it in far too long. I have a scope mounted spot light and used to do my calling at night. I don't know if that's legal where you are, but it was in TX when I lived there (for varmints). Otherwise, I had some luck calling late in the evening. I never did it much in the morning. Use a rabbit in distress call. Squeal away on it varry the pitch and volume every couple of minutes. Your mouth will get tired. It's kinda like playing a saxophone for a couple of hours. There are some nights when that call will bring critters from everywhere. There are a lot of different animals that respond to a distress call. |

No doubt it's a blast. I purchased a Light Force night hunting light mount for my 22-250 at the end of this last season and have about ten different calls from e-calls to hand and mouth calls. I'm itching for at least August to hurry and come so I can get out their and use them. They come in a lot quicker at night. |
