I'm new to turkey hunting in fact I go next Saterday to do my turkey siminar May 10 about 2 weeks after the seasion opened. This is the first year that turkey has been opened in my area.
Yesterday I was out scouting looking for sign I found a coupla spots were at one you could see were a tom had been draging his wings through the sand and another were it looked like he had been going around in circles dragging his wings and made a bit of a bowl in the sand were he pooped in the middle of it. This was done yesterday because we had heavy rain for three days in a row before yesterday
My question is will the turkeys stay preaty close to these spots, and should I or not scout again next Saterday night tohunt on Sunday morrning? We can Hunt Sundays here. :evil: I'm going to miss church next Sunday but In a way I will be in the biggest church out there , the great out doors.
