|
|
| I am about to purchase my first handgun/revolver--the Smith 686 in 6 inch. I want a black hip holster for it, but i'm having trouble finding a nice one. I found a basketweave style one, which i'm not too fond of and a bianchi one, which was okay. My brother has a brown bianchi leather thumbsnap holster which feels great on my, but i checked on their website and they dont seem to have the black one. Does anyone know where i can find one like that or similar? Thanks. |

| Ask your local Police Dept. They might be able to provide you with a suppliers name. I would assume that any supplier of tactical equiptiment might have what you are looking for. |

| Most nylon and tactical plastic holsters come in black. If you are stuck on leather (I am a huge fan of leather and don't have a lot of plastic myself). You might have the option of dying a brown one thqat you like? First off contact the holster mfg; see if they can get you the style you want in black. If not ask if they recomend you dye one of there brown ones and if so what type/make of dye. You might also want to take it up with a local leather shop and see what they would recomend and what they would charge to do it? |

| I would contact Williams Gunsight in Davidson, Michigan. They have a police supply division and would be likely to have what you are looking for. |

thearmenian53,
judging by the date this post was started I'm guess you've already found one, however if not I may be able to get one for you. let me know if you still need it and I'll see what I can do. |
