Went out scouting this eve. My season starts next Wednsday.
There really were not many birds out, but I managed to find a few...

One funny looking turkey

Great pics. My brother and nephew will be heading out for some Wisconsin turkey hunting on Wednesday. I had hoped to redeem a free plane ticket and film their hunt, but things didn't work out this time.

I did not weigh him, or measure the spurs. They look to be over an inch.
If you saw my scouting pics post, he was the 1st one pictured. Was out glassing for him and saw him. Planned a long stalk. Crawled into a briar patch with camera man and layed flat on the ground. called one time when he entered the field where he could of made me, I shut up. He came from 100 yards out to investigate and got smacked at 40 yards. No cover. Got some pretty good video of the hunt, but it is a bit shakey cause the camera man had to loose the tri-pod in order to film.
