See that Speer has released reload manual #14. Has anyone seen it? Anything new, or is it just a new cover? I paid $17.99 for #13 about 3 or 4 years ago and saw that #14 is going for $25.99. Gee, has paper gone up in price too. I couldn't find an unsealed or unwrapped book to see if anything changed for the .270 Win. Want to buy it, but only if they have some new or changed data.

I was even amazed to see how much reloading components have gone up. The last time I bought a few 50 round boxes of Speer GS in .277 cal was in April 2006, they cost me $18.99 per box of 50. Went to Sportsmans Warehouse to buy some more this weekend and they have gone up to $29.99. Didn't buy the Grand Slams this time, opted for the (little bit) cheaper Speer Spitzer Hot Cores instead. In 2006 I could buy a bag of 50 pieces of brass (Rem or Win) for $11.50, now it's $18.99. Crazy!! luckily I still have a whole lot of good brass left and it should last me quite a while.

I think the new barnes manual should be coming out soon too. I think the new manuals have the 338 fed, 325 wsm, 375 ruger, ect There were a few new rounds this last year so it sounds like the bullet makers want their $$$$ too. And to help you out too I guess

nothing really changed from Speer 13 to 14 except they added data on the Trophy Bonded Bear Claw and they added a few new cartridges.

Thanks for the info. That helps a lot. I may buy one just in case I want to start using the trophy bonded bear claw.
