|
|
| Hi all, I finally drew a tag with 8 points. Unit 27 archery bull, September 12-27. This will be my first AZ hunt (hell maybe my last) so I’m thinking I’d better get a good guide. NAHC lists a couple in that area, Handrich Guides and NM Pros Mick Chapel. Does anyone have any opinion on these guys or could recommend someone else. Thanks for the help. |

flobbest, I think you've found some great advice elsewhere.
It certainly pays to browse around the various forums. LOL.

Nah, your not busted... you're just doing what most of us would do when needing advice.
Given the awesome Unit 27 hunt you've drawn, your dream-hunt may well become a reality. Wishing you the best and hope to see you posting often ... well, you know where! :thumbsup1:

OK guys, here's the deal. After much consideration I have chosen an outfitter for my Sept archery hunt in AZ 27. I'm going with New Mexico Professional Outfitters, Mick Chapel. It's a 12 day 1x1 hunt. I was very impressed with Chappell & Scott (not to be confused with Mick Chapel) but they were all booked up, as was McClendens.
I appreciate all the help and will post results as soon as I return from the trip (with my giant elk!). Have a great summer. |
