| Does anyone know of an online supplier for muzzleloaders? I have found a few but Im not so sure that I would feel comfortable sending them my credit card info. thanks in advance. |

Depends on the type of muzzleloaders you're speaking of. I have been doing business with Track of the Wolf ( www.trackofthewolf.com ) for two and a half years now. They deal mainly with civil war and earlier period items both replica and original. I've never had a problem with them. If you're looking at an inline, then go with a local outfitter.
For brand name percussions you can always go directly to the manufacturer, like Traditions, CVA, or Lyman. TC makes a great hawkens too. Beware though, I've heard some bad things lately about CVA and Traditions (regarding max. loads), but I think that applies to the older inlines.

| I actually already have the rifle, I am looking for the cleaning supplies bullets,ect. I can get some of that locally but it involves going to about 3 stores to get everything I need. It would be nice just to get it online. |

| Well, if you need supplies for a percussion or flintlock, check out Track of the Wolf. They are not a bad company. For more modern stuff, there is always Cabela's or Bass Pro shops. |

| What's going on with Traditions and CVA? Last I heard they were having problems with max loads, mulfunctioning and internal explosions. I believe this was in their inline models. |

| I heard the same thing about cva, dont know all the specifics. I found one article that talked about 3 different muzzleloaders blowing up in peoples faces. Im not sure how much truth there was to it but It did detour me from purchasing anything cva. Whether its true or not I'd rather be safe than sorry. |

Hi csumerall!
Being from Germany I order nearly all my stuff, inliners too, from the Log Cabin Shop in Lodi/Ohio. They handle your credit card dates with great care.
