| Around where????? the N/W is big area. i used to drive the Island on the willamette River near Buena Vista OR......needed about 7- 10 guys though |

| Around Bellingham, Blakely Island is the place to go. There are deer everywhere, but they are really small, midget deer. Only problem is getting permission to hunt the private land. If you get permission though, it sounds like essentially a gimme hunt. |

| You are correct the NW is a large area! I am open to going to any island that has deer and not people. I dont mind putting in a little effort to get away from people, and I dont really care if the deer are a little smaller, I really like the antlers that the coastal blacktails develop. If anyone has hunted any of the islands I would love a heads up on which ones to try. Thanks. |
