I'm applying in Utah for desert bighorn, because I'm a future resident there. However I want to apply in just one other Desert bighorn state, to have another chance at a sheep, and perhaps one that is bigger than the Utah sheep.
The question is, Nevada or Arizona?
I'm not looking for a B&C ram, I'm willing to compromise some on size to get better draw odds.
Arizona has more sheep, and bigger sheep, from what I hear. It also has some legendary elk units. Does Nevada have any advantages?
What about draw odds, is one state generally more favorable to draw a decent sheep tag in? Or are they both equally tough? Its hard to find good info on Arizona draw odds, which discusses odds for both residents and nonresidents. Anyone have any Arizona draw odds sources?
Thanks

| if you can only do one of those states, i would research which state has the better odds for non residents. |
