I bought the Encore 45X209 SS SYN stock. Now I need a scope in 4X or 6X, any suggestions or educational experiences you may have had will be appreciated.

On BOTH my "Smokepoles"use a Leupold 2X7,seems a Good Fit.Also, make sure to get the "Quick Release" rings,a must for cleaning and a no hassle return to "ZERO"---

T/C makes a nice 1.5 - 5 scope in a silver finish. I would suggest the Weaver base and rings. The T/C base and rings don't allow enough positioning flexibility for the scope.

I would ask where your hunting first?
What is the distance you will be shooting?
I have a leupold 3 by 9 40mm on my knigt disc. I hunt Ohio,WV and PA. Except for WV most shots would be under 100yrds so i am going to change the scope and put a straight 4 power on it. If you dont have much time shooting this ML yet you dont need a scope that will reach out very far. |

Leupold is a first rate scope!! The 2X7 or the 2.5X8 would be a good choice, as well as the fixed 4X. Can't go wrong with either one!!
