| On the goat draw how dose it work if I put in for say hunt code ANT-1-114 if I am lucky do I hunt only on public lands or do I get assigned to a ranch in one of the areas? |

| It depends on what you draw. Rifle draw hunt in NM are kind of funny. it is kind of like a draw with in the draw. if you draw the public land in that unit that is waht you draw if you draw and are assigned to a rach then you hunt the ranch. If you draw a ranch you will be assigned to a part of the ranch most likley. and the landowner normally gives preference to hunters that bought tags from him. once they are done you might have a chance on moving to other parts of the ranch. |
