I am planning on going bear hunting for the first time either next year or the year after, and i am wondering what part of North Carolina is the best for bear. I will be spot and stalk hunting with my 30-06 if that helps at all. size of the bear doesnt really matter to me, i just want to kill one

the coast. they kill some real bruisers in the coastal areas
