I figured for the hassle of getting a decoy tent, setting up, and then monitoring it, the rangers would have at least put something in the tent that when it was pounced on would badly scare the bear so the bear would learn to steer clear.
Such as a bunch of fireworks or something on that order.... |

Yogi, BoBo, and Smokey the Bear teams together to stamp out tent's!!
Personally, I think its the individuals from MTV's Jackass, that are jumping on the tents in the middle of the night as some new founded stunt, which leaves teenagers rolling for days.
Just a thought, Tent decoys is a stupid idea, so stop wasting money!!

| You may be on to something with the jackass team, there Quicksilver. Although I think instead of tent pouncing they would have had the guy wearing the bear costume tangle with a real bear.... That I might pay to watch. |
