Just submitted my WY antelope application and now the long wait to see if I draw.

Been to WY twice for antelope with rifle, but might like to try the bow this year.

Put in for Unit 52/2

I have never hunted that area but there should be some good heads available.

I think the goats there are on the average size, but it has lots of public land available.

Probably delay the draw to earn interest on the fees for the applications that didn't draw ::-k

Maybe so BUT I hate waiting! Not very patient I guess! Just doesn't give much planning time!

Yes Wyoming's wait for deer and speedgoat is longer than the other Rocky Mountain states. I wish they would shorten it up by a month or so, then we can start planning.... :](*,)

My point EXACTLY! Real pain when you need to put in for vacation time from work EARLY!

Anyone put in for colorado?
i put in for GMU 3, 301 private land only, i'm pretty confident that i'll draw.
The public land tag up there is getting almost impossible to draw.
i'm hearing that you need at least 11 points to even have a chance.

We just applied for points in Colorado this year. Yes 3/301 are really a tough draw these days and you heard right, it takes close to 11 points to draw that public land tag. DOW sure has issued a ton of private land buck tags over the last few years in 3 & 301. I hope you can still find some good ones when you draw.

i sure hope so, i know a guy who shot a pretty decent buck last year off of the property so there might be some good bucks hanging around.

i can't believe the amount of public land tags up there. it's ridiculous, there's goats everywhere and they don't hardly hand out any tags.

most of the ranchers i know in Craig have an over population. I know one rancher in particular who has to have a crop damage hunt almost every year cuz they're tearing up and eating his crops. just seems like they need to thin out the herds with more public tags
