The last Presidential election was decided by only a few hundred votes.

This is too important an election and and it is for too important a position to waste your vote on someone that has no chance in winning. You may be voicing your opinion that you don't like any of the top running candidates, but in the end, one of the top two will be President.

Ron Paul may be the most Second Amendment friendly candidate, but in the final count, a vote for Ron Paul is essentially a vote for Billary or Osama.

I wouldn't consider it a waste of vote by any means. It's a vote cast for someone that the voter believes in. It's a vote lost to those who the voter does not want in office. It's showing that there is a want for someone else besides the main steam candidates. To have your own voice and make it heard is one of the great things we have in this country. I wish more American voters would think this way. We don't have to settle. I don't believe that any voter should simply just settle for a candidate, just because that candidate may have a better chance of winning.

Ron Paul may not cut it for many voters. While the 2nd Amendment is a huge importance to me, it is not the only issue that I vote on. Many of Ron Paul's ideals and beliefs are pretty well aligned with most of mine. It's about keeping America what it should be, as our founding fathers intended.

Yes we are fortunate to live in a country that allows us to express our beliefs. But the reality of an election is that the candidate with the most votes wins. Elections are decided by votes, not beliefs.

Our founding fathers believed that "the right of the people to keep and bear arms" was important enough that out of the ten original Amendments to our Constitution, they made it number two. Hillary and Obama have repeatedly demonstrated through their actions and their votes in the Senate, that they DO NOT believe in the Second Amendment. If either one of them win the Presidental election they will carry their anti-gun beliefs into the presidency.

Primary elections are the time to demonstrate your beliefs. The general election this November is the time to elect a President of the United States.

When this great nation was founded, Ben Franklin said "United we stand, divided we fall." In November we must unite our votes for the candidate that has the best chance of beating Hillary or Obama. Don't be hung up on winning a small battle and loose the war!

I've said it before -- the inherent flaw of socialism and left-wing politics is its inherent distrust of the individual.

It's actually quite simple:

Liberalism: The individual must be constrained to protect the state.

Conservatism: The state must be constrained to protect the individual.

Look at what the candidates are saying, and you'll discover the above holds true. Regardlesss of the rhetoric of the day, those two philosophies will guide the politicians that get elected. Which one do you trust more with your 2nd Amendment rights?
