While not a moose call, some guys where typing about a can/string call a while back. Thought it was interesting, but have not done it myself.
Congrats on the sheep tag! Personally, I'd take one of those over a moose anyday.
By the way, BareBack, is your handle inspired from the Chris LeDoux song?

I drew for over by Agusta MT. north of the river.Lots of sheep there.I've elk hunted that area alot over the past 5 yrs.I read the posts on the can and string earlier.I would like to see a picture of it also.
And my name derives from Chris LeDoux and his song. I barebacked for about 10 yrs and my buddies dubbed me with it hence my short career in rodeo. You cannot be a true cowboy with out alot of old Chris LeDoux music:D.BBJ |

| Ok, I figured that's where the name came from, although 10 years is not a short time to do bareback. The guys I have known that have done it for that long have had at least one significant accident or tired of it. |

Hey,
I was just checking out all the chatter about moose calling. Your right a coffee can, can be used to call in moose, but to call in moose succesfully time and time again i strongly recommend another method. I have called in lots of big bulls for hunters in Maine, I have made a moose calling video and really enjoy calling moose every fall. I call by using a magaphone. This amplify's the call and it can be used for splashing water or imitating a moose urinating. For more information on Moose Calling or my Moose calling video feel free to email me. rydog_04655@yahoo.com
Happy Hunting
Ryan
