Hi,
New to board and Tn, Looking for info on public feral hog hunting?
Like a good area , What I may need to oufit for hunt, any advice at all would be good?

Tnhoundsman,
Catoosa was tough this year! What a difference a year can make. They didn't kill too many hogs at all on that hunt. |

| thats what i heard. from what i heard the deer hunters killed several on the deer hunts and had them pretty scattered! |

It didn't help that the temp went from 60 degrees 3 days before the hunt to 6 degrees the first morning either.
My dog got in a hogs face though......We turned 4 loose and they bayed about 200 yds away but we werent able to get close enough before it broke, then it bayed again a lot further away then it jumped in the river. :](*,) When my hound came back 10 minutes after the chase ended she was wet from head to toe, inside her vest too. I think she went in after it. It was her first race. |
