I took my son out to the Texas Panhandle right before Thanksgiving for a couple days of deer hunting and some days of waterfowl hunting. First day out there he shot his first deer ever. My son is 10 years old and used a .308 to put the Muley down with one shot to the spine. It was at 204 yards using a range finder. It took 2 weeks to get the smile of his face, and I still can't get the smile off mine.  After deer hunting we shot cranes, ducks, and geese for 4 more days and we are BOTH ready to head back next year to do it all again.

some other bucks on the place that were being saved until the neighbor had an employee shoot em where he wasn't supposed to be. Long story, but the deer are dead.
The bigger deer in the back had a net score of 180 B&C.
Another deer that didn't make it
